Tuba Batu is a Turkish ceramic artist and academic. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Handicrafts at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Born in Diyarbakır in 1980, Batu began her art education at Eskişehir Anatolian Fine Arts High School. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in ceramics at Anadolu University and earned her Proficiency in Art (equivalent to a doctorate) from Marmara University in 2016. She has participated in many national and international exhibitions and events, including eight solo exhibitions.
