Babalola Lawson is a contemporary, traditional artist, who emerged from the Osogbo art scene. Lawson works within the boundaries of the Yoruba tradition using patterns, symbols and motives. Which he integrates into compositions that go beyond the two-dimensionality of Yoruba traditions.
