Perihan Şan Aslan born in Ankara in 1978, she graduated from the Department of Ceramics at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Hacettepe University, in 2000. She further completed her master’s and Ph.D. in the same department in 2004 and 2010, respectively. an Aslan has held five personal exhibitions and received four awards. She has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, symposiums, and workshops, both as a participant and an instructor. Her work often incorporates techniques such as hand shaping and laser print, exploring themes related to the aesthetic role of decor in ceramics.
